美國辛辛那提市師生一行人來訪新北市，展開為期15天16校的高中生短期國際交換學習。教育局在端午節前夕，邀請師生前往淡水竹圍高中體驗民俗節慶包粽樂趣，再將粽子送往在地的仁濟安老所，關懷長者傳遞溫情，最後再由國小學生擔任英語導覽員介紹在地古蹟，讓美國師生認識在地悠久的歷史文化特色。來自聖薩維雅高中(Saint Xavier High School)的學生奇根(Keegan)說，他很喜歡台灣的文化，在辛辛那提學中文已經有3年，這次可以來新北市，又在返美前夕體驗包粽子，送到安養院與長輩分享，高興又感動！
